Who we are
This policy covers financewrite.com and the FinanceWrite newsletter, operated by FinanceWrite ("we", "us"). It explains what information we collect, how we use it, who receives it and the choices you have.
Information you give us
You can read this site and use every tool on it without giving us your name or email address. We collect information only when you choose to share it:
- Newsletter. When you sign up, we collect your email address, the form you used (for example, the homepage or a plan page) and any newsletters you picked.
- Contact form and email. If you write to us, we receive your name, your email address and your message.
Our email provider
Our mailing list is stored and sent by AWeber, our email service provider. With your email address it stores the signup source, tags that tell us which emails you asked for (such as the 7-day plan), and standard email statistics such as opens and clicks. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider and Cloudflare, which delivers and protects this site, automatically record technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you asked for, the page that referred you, and the date and time. These server logs help us keep the site running and block bots, spam and abuse.
When you click a link to another company's site, we record the click (the link, the page it was on, the time, and your IP address and browser) so we can see which links readers find useful. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them. A few older pages on this site also use Jetpack Stats, a WordPress tool that counts visits.
Cookies and browser storage
The tools in the 7-Day Earn More Plan, such as the path picker, offer builder, calculator, progress log and weekly planner, save your answers in your own browser using local storage. That information stays on your device. It is not sent to us, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Cloudflare may set a cookie needed for security. Links to other companies can lead to sites that set their own cookies, described below.
How we use information
- To send the newsletter and the emails you asked for.
- To answer your messages.
- To run, protect and improve the site.
- To understand which pages and links readers find useful.
- To comply with the law.
Who receives information
We share information only with the service providers that help us run FinanceWrite: our email service provider (AWeber), our hosting provider and Cloudflare. We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Links to other sites
This site links to apps, gig platforms and other companies. When you follow those links, those companies may collect information directly from you and place or read cookies in your browser, including cookies that let them know you came from FinanceWrite. They have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe. Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us and we'll remove you.
- Review, correct or delete. To ask what personal information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email [email protected].
- Browser storage and cookies. You can clear or block them in your browser settings.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the date. This policy is effective as of October 28, 2026.
